And yet, Bad can t help but reach for salvation with the help of Jean (MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL), a journalist who discovers the real man behind the musician. As he struggles down the road of redemption, Bad learns the hard way just how tough life can be on one man s crazy heart.

I loved the movie and spoke to a friend who not only saw the movie, but grew up with the guys that wrote some of the music for the movie. Bought this for him and he loves it!

5 out of 5 stars Movie soundtrack   February 19, 2010
Denver B. Cornett (LouisvilleKY)
Great songs by Jeff Bridges/T-Bone Burnett and others, especially Ryan Bingham.
Along the lines of the Highway Men and the Texas Outlaws of Waylon and Willie.

5 out of 5 stars Can't wait to see the film   February 18, 2010
M. Elizabeth Wilson (Atlanta)
I haven't seen the film yet, but saw enough clips and heard enough of the music to know I would like this album -- and I do. Jeff Bridges continues to astound as a performer -- and he's a damn good singer! This music is "real" country, and it's terrific. Enjoy!
