Album Description Seven Lives Many Faces is Enigma's seventh album. This album expands the sound catalogue of previous releases and it is expected to lead to a new Omni-Cultural wave. The lead single "Seven Lives" is a powerful fusion of modern and classical elements. Enigma is an Electronic musical project founded by Michael Cretu, David Fairstein and Frank Peterson in 1990. Cretu is both the composer and the producer; his former wife Sandra often provided vocals on Enigma tracks. Jens Gad co-produced and played guitar on three of the Enigma albums.17 tracks.

Best Enigma since "Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi!" July 9, 2010 R. MICKS (Cedar Park, TX USA) I have held Enigma in the highest regard since the very first release in 1991, and this music has become what I consider to be a soundtrack to my life. It means that much to me. However, I must say that after Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi!, the music had changed so much that it lost the essence of what it once was. The Screen Behind the Mirror was, to me, the beginning of Enigma slipping away. This collection has a few good tracks, but it was apparent to that the project was headed off course. I half-heartedly purchased Voyageur and A Posteriori even though I could tell from samples that they lacked all the earlier Enigma embodied, and they most certainly do. I waited quite a while after the release to begrudgingly purchase Seven Lives, but this collection has really surprised me. Here, MC seems to have re-captured the original magic. Most of the tracks have real feeling, emotion and purpose again. This disc has really grown on me. For fans of the first three discs who may have parted ways with Enigma since (as I sort of did), I see Seven Lives as MC meeting us halfway, and it works for me.
Enigma Lovers try these recommendations by Richard Myles June 19, 2010 V. Productions (LA) I love Enigma too. Just so you are aware. There is a new incredible music composer/artist who has 4 brilliant albums out on Amazon and Itunes. Ambient Nights Vol 1, Ambient Nights Vol 2, Darkness Within Vol 1, and A Journey Home. The artist name is Richard Myles, and I have become a HUGE fan of his music. If you love ambient, techno, dance, New Age, R &B, Jazz all into one incredible album check out his 4 albums. They are really hot.

"Open the doors of heaven" May 29, 2010 K. Ydris (CA USA) Throughout the history of Enigma one thread that connects their work is the beauty of their soul transcending and inspiring the beauty of their hearts through the emotions in the lyrics and the rapture in the notes.
It is through the melodies which take one in a journey of discovery unfound in other musical works. This work is intricate, full of incandescent passion, and radiates from within.....Let the door of heaven open inspired by the song, "La Puerta Del Cielo". Music and words of poets, artists, musicians and writes have the power to create magic and this is what we have--an enchanted journey into the spirit of the universe.
My favorite song is "The Same Parents"--
We all had the same parents
many million years ago
why can't we live in freedom
without hunger, with no war...
At the beginning we all had
One mother, and one father
That's where we're descending from
I don't, I don't understand
why so much hate
Between races and religions
It's mad, insane
I don't understand
Why it has to be like that.
I was affected deeply by this song. I think if we all worked together we could bring more love into the world and erase all the evil things and all the hate....i really believe is possible....
I am still trying to comprehend....why so much hate.....?
Seven Lives, Many Faces of Enigma May 22, 2010 Kathleen A. Morris (Elmhurst, Illinis USA) I don't know - is there such a thing as a BAD Enigma CD? I don't think so! I have all of their CD's and I love all of them, equally the same! I am always eagerly anticipating their next CD, which it seems to me, doesn't come soon enough! They are the best around providing this type of musical experience! Buy it - you'll like it!
It's OK April 13, 2010 Wayne Maden (Bluffdale , UT United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Maybe not one of their best, but still good.
Their first one , in my opinion, is still the best.
