Jesse Fan for 15+ years!!! September 6, 2010

How can someone review a CD without listening to it?? I'm a Jesse Cook fan for over 15+ years and he never ceases to amaze me. I have every one of his CDs and love every one!!! His newest CD "Rumba Foundation" is his best ever, but every song on this compilation is of course, his best songs. This CD set would be the best one to buy for someone who hasn't really heard him before, it is a wonderful range of songs through his earlier sets and it will not cease to please the listener. I highly recommend this to a new fan of Jesse Cook!!!

Having owned all the CD's that these favorites were taken from, I think this CD is an excellent compilation of the best of Jesse Cook's work. Of course, there are more songs I would like to see on it, but there's always personal preference, and they couldn't include ALL of them. I recommend this CD (actually a 2-CD set) to all Jesse Cook fans. It made an excellent birthday gift for my husband, the one who introduced me to Jesse Cook's wonderfully original music.

I saw Jesse Cook at the Britt Festival in Jacksonville Oregon in 2008. He was fantastic along with his fellow musicians.
There was a gigantic line for his CD's. What a beautiful guitar sound. Great background music but too fast for massage.

I bought this CD after hearing "Mario Takes a Walk" on Sirius radio several times. I found this cd which seems to be a compilation of some of his previous CD's. Althought I had never heard of Jesse Cook before purchasing this cd, the musical samples sounded interesting. I have really enjoyed this cd which is a radical change from what I normally listen to in music.
