If you like this album, try Phutureprimitive "Sub Conscious" A killer album, more upbeat. Aptly named.
Great Chill Out November 22, 2007 M. Foell 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've recently been getting very much into the downtempo chill side of electronic music. Don't get me wrong I still love my Tangerine Dream and my Klaus Schulze, but when I need something that isn't so cosmic, I turn to this record. Most of the tracks on this album have great smooth beats with layers and layers of lush electronica over top. Providing the listener with a sense of forward movement that is never ever rushed. The only thing ever harsh is the opening tracks inital "electro-buzz" which quickly fades into cosmic pulses of sonic chillout. I'm very happy with this purchase. Check it out for yourself.

I've never had to turn down bass before. You got me.
The Group, The Sound, The Music November 15, 2003 Terrill Shaw (Detroit, MI USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I must say in loving Ambient/Newage music and beautiful melody laced with synthetic sounds, I must say this group has it all. Every Album that Ive heard from 'SOUNDS FROM THE GROUND'. Are worth buying. Most Groups have one or two songs that are pleasing to the ear. I have found that this group, has most all of its cuts on all of there Albums, very tasteful and beautiful. This particular Album Kin, is one of there best Albums/CD's along with all the rest. Listen to "Over There" and you would agree, the sample doesn't do it justice. Its very beautiful.
Kin is a real gem September 29, 2003 mervin wilks (New York USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
'Kin' is one of my favourite albums, beautifully put together, it brings togther many different styles and moods. When first released in the mid 90's this collection stood above anything else released around that time, the fact people still review it is proof that 'Kin' stands the test of time, unlike alot of bland electronica out there. 'Kin' is a real gem.
