5 out of 5 stars Fantastic release   September 6, 2010
Mr John M Tocher
This is the pick of the TMBG releases from both me and my kids, 4 and 6 at the time of writing. They love watching the movies, but enjoy the music on it's own almost as much. The tunes are catchy, fun, but still chock full of good information.

5 out of 5 stars Another great kids' album from TMBG   August 22, 2010

I've been a fan of TMBG since my brother introduced me to "Istanbul" about 20 years ago. Now my kids (ages 6 and 4) love them too. We've listened to "Here Come the ABCs" and "Here Come the 123s" over and over, and were very excited to add "Here Comes Science" to our collection. My kids are learning all sorts of new things, just by listening to the songs. I am too!

5 out of 5 stars "Kid" music doesn't get any better   August 12, 2010
Bartleby (US of A)
Just when you thought They Might Be Giants had outdone themselves with Here Come the ABCs and 123s, they came out with this album of songs which are even more singable, catchy, witty and smart than the last two, with the main difference in this album being that your kids will actually LEARN science by listening to this music. Considering that it's also music that adults will find enjoyable, there is no downside to this album. Buy it now.

5 out of 5 stars "Here Comes Science" is good for parents and kids   August 9, 2010
Isolde (CA USA)
I absolutely love this CD. The tunes are catchy, the lyrics are original and educational, and my daughter (who is too young to understand any of the concepts presented) enjoys listening to it in the car. I was pleasantly surprised to find the bonus DVD with educational and fun music videos for all of the songs on the CD. I find myself singing songs like "Electric Car" while I'm sitting at my computer at work. They Might Be Giants seem to have a great sense of humor as well as good hearts and intelligence; the famous song about the sun (you know, "the sun is a mass of incandescent gas...") is immediately followed by a song in which the band corrects itself and asks listeners to forget what we heard in the previous song and pay attention to the new song, which includes up-to-date information about the sun.

5 out of 5 stars fun, engaging   July 26, 2010

The dvd was the best part for the smart 4 and 7 year old kids I gifted this set to. I figure they can grow into the music, now its mostly fun songs for them. Hoping they will soak up the science lessons through the sounds.
They liked the dvd, I think now that they-e watched it the cd will be fun to put on in the car.

Great music, good fun. Highly recommend!
